As the Covid-19 pandemic continues to develop, we wanted to provide an update.
We are sure you will have seen the broadcast by the Prime Minister on Monday evening and are now clear on the restrictions placed on us over the next three weeks, following which a review will take place. For the avoidance of doubt, these restrictions include:-
- staying at home;
- only go outside for food, health reasons or work (where this absolutely necessary and cannot be done from home);
- staying 2 metres (6ft) away from other people; and
- washing your hands as soon as you get home.
The health and wellbeing of our staff, tenants, landlords and customers remains our paramount concern, and for that reason as per our email last week, our offices have temporarily closed to the public. For the avoidance of doubt, we are no longer carrying out any viewings or inspections during this time, however as far as possible, it is ‘business as usual’.
We are busy working from home and are always contactable by phone (01970 625333), email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Facebook messenger.
During this time, non-emergency maintenance will be postponed however please report this to the office as normal and we will do our best endeavours to assist where we can or programme this in once the restrictions have been lifted. If you do however, have an emergency please contact us immediately and we will do all we can to resolve this matter in a timely manner.
We recognise that some of you live alone and/or away from family and that during this period of time you may feel isolated, we would like to re-iterate that you are welcome to contact us. In addition, please maintain regular contact with friends and family using services such as skype, Facetime, WhatsApp which are fantastic ways of staying in touch.
We have also tried to compile a list of some local businesses who are still open and providing deliveries of essentials during this time which may be useful to you. If there are any other businesses that you know of, please let us know and we will add them to our list!
